Pathfinder Clean Energy (PACE) today announces that its Three Bridges solar and battery storage project in Norfolk has successfully energised, marking the second of two back-to-back Norfolk milestones for PACE in the space of a week, following energisation at the nearby Attleborough Road solar farm.
Located on an 86-acre site in Norfolk, Three Bridges combines 25 MWp of solar generation with a co-located 32.6 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), creating a hybrid renewable energy asset that provides both clean power and grid flexibility to the UK network. Energisation follows the completion of structural installation across more than 35,000 solar panels earlier this year, and the subsequent electrical installation and commissioning phase carried out by PACE’s in-house construction team.
Once fully commissioned, Three Bridges is expected to generate enough clean electricity to power approximately 8,000 UK homes annually, while avoiding an estimated 5,800 tonnes of CO₂ emissions every year.
With Attleborough Road and Three Bridges now both energised, PACE has delivered two 25 MWp Norfolk solar projects concurrently, a co-located solar-and-BESS asset and a solar-only asset, reinforcing the strength of PACE’s in-house, vertically integrated development-to-delivery model.
As with Attleborough Road, ongoing operational management of Three Bridges now transfers to PACE Asset Management, the dedicated asset management operation established by PACE Group ahead of its lead UK projects reaching energisation.
With both Norfolk assets now in commercial operation, PACE Asset Management takes on responsibility for performance monitoring, revenue optimisation, and long-term operations across the two sites.

Three Bridges adds to PACE’s fast-growing operational portfolio in the UK, reinforcing the company’s transition from developer to active constructor and operator of clean energy infrastructure across its platform. The milestone comes as PACE’s UK construction programme continues to build momentum, with the Tophams solar and battery storage project in Hertfordshire having recently reached Final Investment Decision and now entered its construction phase.
