Introduction
Pathfinder Clean Energy (PACE), a UK-headquartered international clean energy developer and investor has achieved planning approval for its 39MWp solar park in Norfolk.

The clean energy project supports the expansion of the Food Enterprise Park (FEP) near Norwich through onsite utility-scale solar generation, an increase in power import and export capacity and the potential for battery storage.

Energy storage can also be combined with solar to bring further flexibility to the onsite generation so the benefits of the low carbon solutions are optimised.

Rob Denman, Managing Director of Pathfinder Clean Energy, said,

Maleys Solar park.

Maleys is a 39 MWp solar farm located in Easton, Norfolk just off the A47. The project will generate around 40 GWh, providing clean power to a local industrial park with surplus to be supplied to the national electricity grid where it could provide power for up to 12,500 households and displacing 9,000 tonnes of C02 e annually.
