Pathfinder Clean Energy (PACE), a UK-headquartered international developer of utility scale solar and battery storage projects, has submitted into planning a 13 MWp solar farm in the East Lindsey area of Lincolnshire. The proposed scheme can also include co-located energy storage.

PACE has completed a detailed local consultation process and a suite of environmental and technical assessments in order to design and submit this project.

PACE is working to enter construction on 140MWp of projects across its advanced markets of the UK and Canada in 2022 and has a follow on pipeline of 1+GW of grid capacity it is advancing.

Rob Denman, Managing Director of Pathfinder Clean Energy said: “This Lincolnshire project will add to our ever-expanding portfolio across the UK.

The proposed ground-mounted scheme, known as Mallows Solar, is located near the Lincolnshire village of Sibsey and is the company’s seventh solar project to enter planning in the UK. If built, it would generate enough power for around 4,600 homes.

“This project will be able to connect in 2023 and provide a contribution to our climate targets and energy security.

‘PACE’s growing team is excited to advance this project that adds to our portfolio where we can co-locate energy storage to provide both clean generation but also additional support to the UK electricity network. ’.
